Bristol Fashion Week

Last week I bought my tickets for the Bristol Fashion show at the end of March which is part of the Bristol Fashion Week.

I am so looking forward to this plus you get a goodie bag with various items and discount vouchers for shops.

  1. It makes a nice change for an event to be held outside of London! The goodie bag I got for LFW was the best thing about the event. x

  2. It's great to support local talent, I used to go to local student shows and buy the most amazing creations (or a version of) for about £30, they just wanted the material costs back, and were willing to make for free on the basis that it was their first official 'client'. Even with inflation it would make it cheaper than the mass produced stuff on the high street. If you see something you love and it is a student show, make sure you speak to them and ask if they can adapt for you and then offer a price (they tend to be hopeless with money and either just clam up or ask something ridiculous as they have read too many copies of Vogue!) If you offer a figure they invariably say yes and as a patron you never know where it could go, they might be the next Alexander McQueen! Have a great time! (and thanks for dropping by on mine, come again and compare diet tips, I am failing hopelessly at the moment!)
