I used to have my hair right down to my waist and I miss having it that length more than I can ever explain.
It may seem trivial to some but my hair was and still is, my security blanket. I think I put all my attention into my hair, it was the thing I felt that made me stand out and now with it shorter I don't feel I stand out the way I used to, if that makes any sense. I feel boring!
Anyway onto the reason of this post I decided to do a hair growth track so I can see how much longer it grows in the next few months.
I know people probably think my hair is long anyway but to me its not really.
I just hope it hurries up and grows.

Your hair kooks lovely, I love your new fringe. That lipstick really suits you too xx
ReplyDeleteThanks SC , thats Sleek from Superdrug Peaches and cream its my fave lipstick at the mo.x
ReplyDeleteI think it looks lovely, especially loving the fringe xx
ReplyDeleteI think your hair looks great - I wish I could get away with a fringe, but I have a really small forehead! My hair gets to a certain length and then stops growing! xx
ReplyDeleteI love your hair, its so neat and the fringe is lovely. I had hair I could sit on when I was younger, I know exactly what you mean about missing it :( Mine wont grow now, or very slowly at any rate.
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous on you and makes the rest of your hair look even longer. I know what you mean though last time mine was cut I knew it was still long but I felt so miserable and "not me". xxx
ReplyDeleteYour hair is really quite long so I'm sure it will grow faster. I know what you mean about it being a security blanket. I used to feel like that and I would cry when I get it cut short.
ReplyDeleteaww I love your hair! I've heard that the Lee Stafford hair growth thingy is quite good...? I prefer my hair shorter. I may go for an Alex Jones next time...!!

I understand how you feel, as I also have long hair. When I cut them, they feel so short, but in a way, i like the fact it's lighter!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, like I said yesterday, your hair looks good, but if you don't like it, hopefully they'll grow back soon!
I think your hair looks lovely now, I completely understand what you mean though, when I was 18 I had hair halfway down my back, and after the breakup with my first 'adult' partner, I chopped about 12" off it. although I've grown it long since, its nowhere near as nice/conditioned/long/perfect as it once was, that was always my security blanket.
ReplyDeleteThankyou for your comment on my previous post, its tough, and I appreciate what you wrote. I'm going to make it my mission to do that tag before the end of the weekend- good distraction xx
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments I just have to be patient and wait for it to grow xx
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely hun :). I want to grow mine too, i want it all one length, so hoping to grow the layers out xx
ReplyDeletei know exactly what you mean, the same thing happened to my friend, we were discussing it for the longest while now. She felt like a change and there is nothing that makes you feel changed like cutting your hair...
ReplyDeletewell she cut it, and it did make her feel like 'a different woman' and it's beautiful both ways but it's just what she wanted 'different' and hair is something a girl can be very very close to. So it's forcing her to learn 'self beauty versatility' for want of a better word lol
