A gorgeous dress via Ebay

Hiya

 

I have not been on Ebay for ages and I had forgot that you can get some great bargains on there.

 

I saw this dress and fell in love...I think you will agree its 'very me' ! 

 

This was brand new with tags and although it was only Primark I got this for a bargainous price.

 

It arrived today and its an absolutely stunning dress and I love it on me.  Its like a blush sort of colour and has gorgeous embroidered/lace front.  I ♥ this dress so much.

New Year New Job & New Items

Hiya lovely followers

 

Once again I apologise for not leaving you all comments but I will get around to catching up this weekend.

I do have a small excuse though I have been in bed ill since last Sunday with flu....I literally could not even get out of bed for like 4 days!  I am feeling a lot better now but it really hit me for six.  :(

 

My weighloss is going well too.  I don't weigh myself but I know I have lost weight as my clothes are feeling quite a bit looser.  I am able to confidently wear some of my clothes I have not been able to wear for ages as I felt they were too tight and uncomfortable plus my size 12 jeans are really baggy!!!

 

Also apart from all that I start a new job on Monday which is a lot closer to home....literally down the road! 

Last December I started a secondment in the company I was working in and although I was a lot happier in that role it was such a hassle as it was taking an hour each way to get to work and the hours were very inflexible.

I think part of me being so low last year was working in that company so I feel this is another fresh start for me.  This job is literally 10 mins by car or 25mins walk and they have free car parking and flexi time.

 

Anyway onto some new buys.... :)   Mike and I went shopping today I did not buy much but I got this jumper/top from a shop called Apricot.  I love this top, a while back I would not have had the confidence to wear it as its very stretchy and fitted but I love how it looks on me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and I also bought some St Tropez Gradual Tan Medium/Dark.  I have heard rave reviews about this product so I wanted to give it a try.  I may do a review of this soon.

 

 

No17 Photo Flawless Primer - I don't use Primer but this was on offer reduced to £2.99 so I thought I would give it a go as I have also heard good things about this too.

Early Spring Haul at New Look

Hello ladies

I hate January....its official. I am sick of the dark nights and grey days and although I think the snow looks gorgeous, its a pain the backside! I cannot wait for Spring to arrive so with this in mind I have loved seeing the new Spring items coming into the shops.

 

I did a naughtly little online order at New Look the other day was a few things I liked and I have my vouchers.

This was my order and its all very spring like...ha ha

OOTN - Family Meal

Hiya

I am sorry for the lack of posts lately I think I have lost my blogging mojo at the moment and I am really struggling with posts.  Please bear with me I will get back on track soon, its just I have so much going on at the moment.

 

I had an amazing time last weekend we spent our time, shopping, chatting and laughing.  Its great when you chat to your friends it really is all the therapy you need.  Saturday night we got all dolled up and went out to eat and then ended up hitting a few bars which was great...I really needed it. 
On Sunday my friend made us a lovely cooked breakfast and then we went for a walk in Coate Water Country Park in Swindon...its so lovely there and we were walking for an hour and half but it was great and we chatted loads.  I think I am really lucky as I have the best friend a girl could ever want. :)

Anyway after a rather long and boring week in work I decided today to have a good clear out and I realised that I just have so many clothes half of which I never wear...yet I am always complaining I never have enough clothes :(

Trouble is I always say when I am slimmer I will wear that but then never do and I don't feel I am ever happy with my figure.  I am far too self critical and I would love to be one of those women that just put an outfit on and think yeah I look nice...but that rarely happens! I have been cutting back a bit and the new job which I am starting in a couple of weeks has a gym so I will be definitely losing weight and toning up...I cannot wait.  I have literally a carrier bag full of shoes and 2 carriers bags of clothes I want to put on ebay and still my wardrobes are full.  I did think about doing a blog sale but when I have done these in the past no one buys anything.  Its a shame as I hate ebay as the fees are so high.

Anyway tonight we went out for a family meal and this was my outfit.

Girlie Weekend ♥ - just what the doctor ordered!

Hello everyone

At least its the weekend...yay :)

Well as you know I have been rather down of late so I am off to spend the weekend with a friend in Swindon. We are going to have a girlie weekend with plenty of shopping and chatting. Plus we are going out tonight for a meal not sure if we are going clubbing or anything at the moment...may just go back and watch a good dvd.

 

It was arranged rather impromtu so yesterday I rushed out on my lunch break to look for a dress for tonight (although I do have loads at home!!!) I bought 2 new dresses but cannot decided which one to wear....!!

They are both Mela Loves London at New Look.  The 2nd one is more plainer but I love the lace and the fit and it will look lovely with a skinny waist belt.

Outfit post: My 4 sale dresses

Hiya everyone and happy new year.

 

So sorry for lack of posting over new year but to be honest I have not had that great a christmas.

I have been ill, I don't really want to go into it too much but I have been really down and had quite a bad spell of depression.  I am going to have to go back to the docs this week.

 

On the plus side I have been offered another job a lot closer to home, my current job takes me over a hour each way where as this one is 15 mins away!

 

I just hope 2013 is a better year for us as last year was not that great.

 

Anyway onto my favourite subject...dresses!  I received my sale dresses although I am still awaiting one from Asos but I just wanted to show the pics of the ones I have.

 

I have also lost a small amount of weight due to the fact that with the depresson I have not been eating as much, my appetite has decreased quite a bit.....!  Not the way I wanted to lose weight but still I am determined to keep it off now.  The new company I will be working for has a gym so I will be joining that.  You probably would not notice the loss but I definitely can tell.

 

All these dresses are a size 12 apart form the 1st one which is a Small/Medium.   I plan to be a size 10 by end of June at least.  I don't want to go much lower.  When I was a 10 I still had a large chest so these dresses will be fine and still wearable.  I am holding off buying anymore clothes though now.

 

Tenki Navy Cat Print dress, this dress is very short but is ideal with leggings/tights. As its a s/m its quite tight but it will be fine once I have lost more weight.

 

 

 

 

Secondly this white bird design dress from Influence at New Look. I do love this dress.

 

Obviously its not something I will wear now but it will be ideal for summer.  I hate this photo as I look chunkier than I do in reality!!!

 

 

 

Second dress is Cameo Rose at New Look, I have this in navy blue too and I adore this dress.

 

 

 

Vero Moda Cherry Print dress from ASOS - not 100% sure about this dress.  Its a size 12 but its a bit big for me and I am thinking when I lose even more weight it may be miles too big!  What do you think?

I dont like it with this belt but I could not find the belt I wanted to wear with it! I am just wondering whether its very flattering?
