I'm in the orange!

Today I had to pop to the doctors so I thought I may as well have a look around a few shops.

I popped into H&M and picked up this lovely orange cardigan.
The colour is so vibrant and I love the crochet around the neck. It goes really well with a few of my floral dresses. It will look lovely for this summer and I think orange definitely suits me!

I brought a pair of black leggings for £7.99. H&M have some good leggings that are a bit thicker than the £5.99 ones and they are a really good fit.
Also brought the bow earrings from H&M and the pinky earrings were in the sale in Boots.

In Boots I brought some ceramic curling tongs which were only £11, I was a bit dubious as to whether they would be any good but they do actually work really well.

Last night I watched PS I love You, I had not read the book and not seen the film before. I thought it was a lovely film. I cried most of the way through it and I have to admit I fancied her husband who died and the irish guy she met in Ireland was pretty nice. I do love the irish accent too northern and southern!
I am going to have to buy this on DVD now, such a nice film.
Mike wasn't interested though he fell asleep ha ha, not really a mans film!

Day 4 - A photo of the last place you went on holiday

Last year for the first time in ages we did not go abroad. We only ended up going to Torquay for a week as at the moment we are in the process of doing up our house.

These are some photos of Torquay. I really like it there, we went to the coastal zoo and Paignton Zoo they were both really good.






















This year we are planning to go back to Tenerife this is the hotel we are going to book. Its right by the beach.
Last time we stayed in the hotel next door which was really nice but we went into this hotel to have a look around and just thought it was so luxurious.

New spring clothing buys!

Hello

Well I ventured out today as I had to go to an appointment in town.
I have not really been out much lately due to the way I have been feeling.

In New Look I brought this dress/top from the Pussycat concession. To be honest its meant to be a dress but its very short so I am going to wear it with jeggings I love it as its so pretty and summery. I wonder if its too young for me but hey ho I like it so I shall wear it.

Tomorrow night Mike and I are going out for a meal with 2 other couples so I will be getting all dressed up. I have not been out for a meal in ages so I am looking forward to this.

My hair and my hair envy!

I have long hair but its not as long as it used to be (its a long story) but basically it used to be waist length now its probably to the middle of my back maybe a bit longer. This actually does not show the full length of my hair. Excuse the old dodgy dressing gown but it keeps me warm ha ha



















I so want my hair back to waist length and to be honest I know it sounds silly but I miss my hair so much it has really gotten me down because I feel not so attractive as when my hair was longer. Its probably a confidence thing but it has has made me ponder do I get hair extensions or not??

I saw these ones in Boots the other day but they are not real hair! They cost £30.00 but I am wondering if its really worth it as my hair is long anyway just not long enough for me! I have calculated that if hair grows at half an inch a month then my hair will be the length I want it by June so its not too long to wait.
Has anyone else tried these?

























I also want to create curls, this is my bugbear as I can never seem to curl my hair with the straightening irons. That photo was taken after I had tried to curl my hair with the straighteners....hmmm its more of a wave!
I am going to buy some curling tongs and try them out and maybe I will have more luck.

Sometimes I wash my hair at night and keep it in a plait overnight. When I take the plait out my hair is wavy but its more of a flat wave.

I have serious hair envy of all these girls and I would love curls like Miley Cyrus, her hair is just amazing!

Dresses definitely. I love dresses and have loads of them. I ionly have 2 pairs of jeans I am not very keen on them.

I prefer going shopping with friends or alone because to me its the whole going out having lunch and having a girly gossip plus I love the fact that you can try things on. I also like online shopping because I think you can get some great bargains without crowds of people and long queues.

DVDs. I am not really into technology and downloading etc.

Juice. I love pineapple juice.

Laptop or PC?
Well I have a PC at the moment but my parents have a laptop they are giving me as they don't need it anymore.

Chocolate....I love chocolate!

Magazines however I do read online newspapers.

Facebook - I don't use Twitter. But I am not addicted to either!

Pets...they love you unconditionally and I love animals. My cat Thomas is my little baby.

Cupcakes yummy I have never eaten a macaroon I don't think!

Walk.....I culd never run in fact they used to laugh at me at school as I ran like a girly wimp lol! I am a girly wimp ha ha

I like both. Breakfast in bed is lovely but I do like going out for breakfast too.

Supermarket.

Sourdough or Grainy?
Not sure what this is, is it bread??

Heels or Flats?
Both but for different occasions. I like medium heels for work, high heels for evenings out and special occasions and flats for shopping and casual days.

Late nights or Not?
I am not a late night person really I get so tired by 10:30pm.

Coffee or Tea?
I like both but my coffee is just hot milk with a hint of coffee. I do love tea as well!

Primark Spring/Summer 2011

I know a lot of people hate Primark but I love it!
The reason I love Primark is that you can get affordable fashion and if it only lasts one season than thats fine by me.

Having seen a preview of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection I definitely want these items if I can find them in store as knowing Primark they will sell out pretty early.

I love both these bags but especially the floral one.

















































































I also like the 3rd dress along.


















Of course it depends what they look like in reality as Primark can be a bit hit and miss.
