Review: L'oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tan

Hello

Oooh I have never done a review before so I hope this is ok!

I purchased the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gel (Medium skin) for the body only. RRP £10.99 but was on offer for £7.99.

This is a photo of my legs after one application, what do you think?

Pros

1) Has a slight colour so you can see where you are putting it

2) Its natural and gives a nice colour

3) Its a reasonable price for the size of the tube.

4) It gives you an instant slight sun kissed shimmer

Cons

1) It smells a bit naff

2) It does not look that good on the feet

3) After applying it for a few days it goes a bit patchy and then you have to scrub it all off and start again.

4) Once you shower a lot of it comes off and you have to re-apply!

To recap I think its a good natural colour and a good price but I do think there are better self tanners on the market.

I am going to be doing a review on St Tropez Bronzing Mousse in a while so keep a look out for this and I will also be doing a review on the Bumpits!

Bumpits!

Has anyone seen these advertised?

They retail at £9.99 but I didn't want to spend that much on them in case they don't work or look silly. I ended up buying some today on ebay for only £2.98 including postage. A bargain really as at least I would not have wasted too much if they are no good.

I don't like the styles where its too 'bumped up' ie like the 60's look so I will probably only use the small ones for a bit of height and volume. I like the thought of wearing the small ones with a headband so it gives you that glamourous volume look...well thats what I am hoping for anyway!

In the pack you get 1 large, 2 medium and 2 small.

I wil let you know my opinion once received.

Has anyone else tried these?

Just a couple of buys for me!

Hello

Its so hot at the moment, I do love the nice weather its just awful at night as its hard sleeping.
After hearing great reviews I brought a bottle of St Tropez tanning mousse. I am going to give it a go and I may do a review on this later in the week.

Last week I ordered these Jeggings from Oli

and these from Topshop.

I received the Oli ones today and they are really good for the price. I have heard that the Topshop ones are the best jeggings though and a few fellow bloggers have them and they look fab on them.

I also brought this long line pink cardi in H&M. It looks massive in the photo but its actually a size 10 and it looks a lot nicer worn.

I have been trying to eat healthy lately as I am going on holiday but I brought this as a treat (I am not going to eat it all lol)
Cadburys Bar of Plenty - Toffee Apple

Has anyone tried this?

Well I was disappointed to be honest I imagined it would be lovely toffee apple with chocolate..yum! but its like spicy apple with chocolate! Its ok but nothing special.

What are you up to this weekend?

I get so emotional baby!

OMG I am so emotional at the moment just what is wrong with me.

I have always been quite an emotional lady anyway but lately I find myself getting more and more upset about things.

Today me and OH were on the M5 and we pulled onto the slip road and in front was a bus with disabled children on and there was this little girl in a wheelchair she looked so happy and I started crying!

I keep finding myself crying when watching the news when you hear of soldiers being killed etc

Don't get me wrong I was not openly crying but I had tears in my eyes but with my sunglasses on hubby did not know! I never mentioned it to him, I never do as he would probably think I am an emotional wreck but I just find that things really affect me a lot.
I watch Crimewatch Uk (don't ask me why it always gives me nightmares and hubby always tells me off for watching it) but I end up crying at the crimes on there like an old lady being mugged or someone being raped its just such a horrible world we live in.

Sometimes I wish I was one of those people that did not care but then again what sort of person would I be????

This is precisely the reason why I would never join the police although I would love too but I know I would be more of a hinderance than a help, I am way too soft and emotional.

One of my friends is a police officer she has been in the service for about 10 years, she used to be so meek and mild but the job has definitely 'toughened' her up a bit.

What makes you cry?

Update - The past week

Hiya I'm back

Well basically I did the Race for Life last Saturday and it was such great fun. Its so annoying as I wanted to take my camera and ended up leaving it on the side so I could not take any photos.
After we did the race we went back to my house for lunch and a girly gossip. My friend has just come back from travelling in Indonesia so I had a look at some brilliant photos she had. I must admit I don't think I would want to go there, she ended up in some quite scary situations (and she is a really sensible girl) and she was quite scared a lot of the time as it was only 2 girls travelling together.

Had a really bad week in work its been so busy plus I have been looking for other jobs which did not help by not having the internet!

Mike's brother and his girlfriend announced their engagement and they are getting married next year. Mike has been asked to be the best man and he is already starting to plan the stag do in Barcelona! I think he is more concerned with organising that than the actual wedding...men eh!

Today was really nice my friend come up from Swindon she has just met this new guy who is lovely and they have been together for 2 months. Anyway basically he was our chauffeur for the day he picked me up from my house and drove us to a restaurant for my friend and I to have lunch. He went off to Burger King and then picked us up after and drove us to the shops where we went shopping for about 3 hours. He then met up with us when we finished and brought us afternoon tea in John Lewis. He is so attentive and a true gentleman.
I finally think she has found Mr Right.
He thinks so much of her, my friend is tiny 5ft and is a very small build and he is so protective and sweet towards her. Apparently he told her that I was a really sweet nice girl. He said we are so similar which is true, I am also short and we have similar hair styles and love the same clothes lol

I brought the following items:

Nude ballet pumps from New Look (similar to the Topshop ones but half the price)

Cream Butterfly earrings from Boots of all places.

Floral hair bands in H&M and floral bow slides from New Look.

So looking forward to our holiday.

Cute picture alert

I saw this picture in an online newspaper and just had to share it.

He is Clive the teacup piglet and he lives on a farm in Devon. I don't believe in dressing animals for human entertainment but I just think this is such a cute picture.
Apparently they dress the animals as its part of the play process for the little animals.
I love pigs!

Everyone say awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I want to take that little piglet home!

99p bargain boots!

Hello lovely followers

Its so hot at the moment poor Thomas does not know what to do with himself wearing that fur coat..poor thing!

I received the Faith tan boots I brought from Ebay today and I love them.

Obviously I won't be wearing the white dress with them lol
I love the heel and the heel height. The only downside is they are a bit too big around the calves for me but I think they still look ok.
A bargain for 99p! (please ignore the spare room we have not decorated it yet and it looks a mess!)

I popped out today to buy some make up and just to let you know Boots Natural Collecton are doing buy 2 items get 1 free so I brought these.

Lipstick in Lotus
This is like a nude colour, really pretty.

Lipgloss in Fondant

Its actually a lot lighter in reality than in the photo its like a peach colour

Golden glow bronzing powder.

Really lovely bronzer and not orangey at all.

I read that Natural Collection do not test on animals but after looking on the web I am not sure if they do or not and I like to buy things not tested on animals, so I will be annoyed if they do!
My best friend is back from Indonesia this weekend and we are doing the Race For Life next Saturday. We are going out for lunch and shopping after we change so I may have another haul post!
