Knitted Dress - Stradivarius
Belt - Primark

Brown lace cami top - M&S

Thanks for all your kind comments yesterday my throat is a bit better today but now its moved to my ears, my hearing is quite muffled and my eyes will not stop running.....!

I did not feel like going out today but we had to do some food shopping so we popped to Tesco and it was jam packed.  I came over a bit funny in store and felt shaky and faint so I was glad to get out of there!

I decided to wear my brown knitted dress, I bought this in Tenerife last July and this is the first time I have worn it.

Anyway happy new year to you all and best wishes for 2012.  I really appreciate all my followers and love reading your comments.

I have some new years resolutions, ones that are achievable and I may blog about these in the next couple of days.

Happy New Year

Step into spring!

Hello

I have not been well all week I have a terrible cold and sore throat.  I went to the doctors today and I have a virus which seems to be going about at the  moment so I am just resting at home.  These colds really take it out of you though don't they!

As I have been feeling ill I have been a bit bored I have been browsing online....bad idea! I know its still the cold dark days of December but I notice the shops are getting their spring items in store now and I am loving the corals and mint colours that are around.

Topshop have these rather gorgeous mint coloured pumps, I have these pumps in nude and salmon pink and they are really comfy and I think this colour will look lovely with a tan and go nice with my pale blue jeggings.  I may have to order these with some of the money I had for christmas.

Boohoo have this gorgeous green Sweetheart Skater Dress another one I may have to get.  They have this in coral too which also looks gorgeous.

And H&M have this lovely ditsy dress, I have some H&M vouchers so may have to get this too! Trouble is I don't think H&M online let you use the gift cards so I will have to see if they have this in store.

I received the Topshop pansy dress today and its so bright and colourful, I love it as its a very flattering fit and I am so glad I got it in the sale.

I cannot wait for spring now I am so fed up with this miserable grey weather and the darker evenings are always more depressing.

Sale buys

Hiya everyone

Aaargh I am rather annoyed with Missguided.com.  In one of my previous posts I mentioned I ordered the bird print skater dress from them and was so looking forward to receiving it but yesterday I received an email saying they had to refund me as they were out of stock. I was so looking forward to getting that..on the bright side it saves me £27.99!

Anyway these are my buys from the sales this year.

From H&M online I had such a fab deal I bought this fake fur coat orginally £39.99 for £13.00 including postage!!

and lace dress was bought with some H&M vouchers I had for christmas - do I really need another lace dress........!

In the Boohoo sale I ordered this dress which was a fiver - gorgeous

Grace tunic top - ideal with skinny jeans or leggings

In Dorothy Perkins I ordered these pale blue jeggings, they are from a range called PDA and these were full price. I received them today and they are fantastic the quality is fabulous, they are like proper jeans but lovely and soft.   I ordered a size 10 and they are perfect on the legs but harder to get on than a size 12 but I knew if I got a 12 they would be baggy on the legs.  Now I am slimming down (new tears resolution) and starting to exercise more I am hoping with weight loss they will be a tad easier to get on.  I only have dark jeggings and thought these would be nice with lighter tops.

Boyfriend belt

and in Republic this lovely necklace which was £8.99 reduced to £2.00 and the sunglasses were from Accessorize, thesewere £14.00 reduced to £3.00

I love this necklace its so pretty

and not forgetting the Tosphop pansy print dress - which I am still waiting for in the post.  I tried it on in store yesterday and I love it.

In Asda I bought a book and the dvd was a fiver, its a film I really wanted to see plus it has Channing Tatum in...need I say more!

I would love to see your sale buys

OOTD - off to the sales

Hiya lovelies

Phew...christmas is over!
To be honest mine was ok not as nice as other years but still it was nice to spend time with Mike and Thomas.   Luckily Mike always cooks the christmas finner and he always does a splendid job...it was lovely.

Today Mike and I went to the sales, something Mike was not too keen on but I bribed him with lunch...it works every time!

I have already bagged a couple of brilliant bargains online which I shall post about tomorrow.

I have to say I was rather disappointed with the sales this year and did not buy much like I said I got better deals online.

This was my outfit today. Ignore how pale I am...I hate being pale but I have not worn fake tan for a couple of days...!

Dress - H&M
Tights - Primark
Boots - Primark
Belt - New Look

I hope you all had a fabulous christmas

I'm just a skater bird - small haul!

Hiya everyone

Only one more day to go to the big day.  I finally finished my christmas shopping today.

I left work early and got the rest of the things I needed to get then Mike and I did the food shopping....it was so packed.

I must admit I have resisted the early sales so far but tonight I treated myself to a spot of online shopping.............

Missguided Skater Bird Dress - which I have wanted for ages but it was out of stock but tonight it was back in stock...wooo

Also from the Topshop online sale I ordered this Pansy Fit And Flare Dress...very colourful I just hope its not too 'in your face'!

Also I have been after a tan handbag for ages, one that was not too expensive but not cheap looking and one thats quite big and you can put it over your shoulder as hand held ones are annoying when you are shopping etc.
I just happened to be in Peacocks the other day buying my neice a christmas present and spotted 'THE BAG' and it was only £15.00!
Its roomy and looks a lot more expensive than it was.

Last night I had a lovely meal out with the girls, the food and the company was brilliant.

When I got home the lovely Sophie from  http://cgdn.blogspot.com/ had sent me a christmas card with an elephant necklace enclosed.  I love elephants and that was such a gorgeous surprise so thankyou so much Sophie thats very kind of you. xx

Well have a very happy christmas everyone and all the best for 2012.

Mike and I popped to B&Q tonight and we bought one of those 6ft Pre decorated trees it was in the sale from £40.00 to £10 and then we got 20% off.

We wanted it for our porch.

Thomas decided he quite liked the box!

OOTD and opinions needed please

Hiya

Today Mike and I went christmas shopping I have now got most of the presents I needed to get.  I have a few more to get for Mike which I will do later this week.

This was my outfit (please excuse my rather bloated tummy!)

Dress - H&M
Tights - Primark
Boots - New Look
Necklace - bargain at Topshop was £10 reduced to £1.50!

I am going out on Thursday night after work with two friends for a few christmas drinkies and a meal and was looking at different outfits to wear.

I was thinking I don't want to be over dressed up as its only a straight after work thing and I thought about wearing the outfit I have on above but maybe with a belt or the outfit below the black and cream dress.

Sorry for the rubbishy photos!

Or I have seen this dress in Topshop I thought about getting!!

Whats your opinion I would be really grateful??

Thanks

Shopaholic strikes again!

Hiya

Sorry I have lost my blogging mojo big time.  I only seem to be doing haul posts lately so I am sorry if my blog is rather boring and repetetive at the moment but unfortunately due to work commitments I don't have much time.  To be honest blogging was always a hobby to me anyway. I am really grateful for all my followers and love reading all your comments but I don't take blogging too seriously like some other blogs I see around, but then again I don't take myself too seriously either ha ha.

A couple of weeks ago I went christmas shopping and naughty me ended up also buying a few goodies for me too....! I thought you might like to see my buys:

Cream cable knit cardigan from Primarni - I can wear this with everything.  It also looks great with floral dresses to 'winter them up' a bit!

Blossom print t-shirt - I hardly own any t-shirts and I really like this one from New Look.

Its very pretty

River Island Cable Brushed Lace Jumper - love this jumper its warm, cosy and stylish
Pink lacy scarf

Lounge pants - I don't really do casual so have hardly anything casual in my wardobe. I think I have one zip up top for the gym and I definitely don't wear  tracksuit bottoms of any kind.   I saw these in Primark and thought 'how cute'.  I have a plain navy t-shirt and thought these would be nice for just chilling out around the house in.

Accessorise hair slides - more hair slides, also I had 25% off these

I also bought 2 basic cardigans in H&M and a pencil skirt for work.

Hope you all had a fab weekend

Our day at Clarks Village

Today Mike and I had the day off work and we decided to go to Clarks Village in Somerset.

We left sunny Bristol and got to Clarks Village around 12.30 ish to torrential rain and I did not bother to take an umbrella!!  Luckily by the time we found a space in the car park (it was packed) the rain had stopped.  We decided to eat straight away as we were really hungry and went to the The Bear Inn for lunch, its a really nice pub and the food is lovely.

I love Clarks Village for many reasons but also when its busy its not so packed that you cannot move like when you go into town.
We bought some household things like towels and crockery...not very exciting and we bought a few christmas presents.

I love the La Senza at Clarks as most of the bras are £5.00 and they are usually £18-£20 in the normal stores.  They also had some gorgeous pants for £1.50 each they were originally £5.00 a pair. I bought a few pairs.

We had a look in the Fiorelli shop as I do like my Fiorelli bags  I did not buy anything though.

I love the carousel.

My favourite shop by far is Yumi.

I love their clothing and bags and normally they are very expensive but this outlet shop is a lot cheaper than the normal stores.  I bought this bag for myself it was £35 reduced to £12.99. I totally love it.  Its like a very pale pastel blue and I love the bow details.

cute polka dot lining

I also bought this bag for a friend for christmas it was £30.00 reduced to £8.99!!!

pretty floral lining

And of course a visit to Clarks Village would not be complete without going to the Cadburys shop!! I totally love Fry's orange cream bars and I cannot find them in many normal shops...yum yum!

So that was our day out we had a lovely time.
I still have not blogged about what I bought last weekend which I shall get around to doing soon!
Have a fab weekend lovelies

H&M I ♥ u!

I am loving H&M at the moment I think its my favourite shop.

Why I love H&M so much is that its relatively cheap like Primark but the quality is better than Primark and its more stylish.

I popped into town on my lunchtime today as I had to take the Topshop dress back that I ordered online. Its a nice dress but miles shorter than it looks on the website and not worth £24.00!

I thought I would have a look in H&M and I ended up buying these two dresses in cream and black for £12.99 each. They are fitted like ponte stretch material and although they may be plain I think they are really flattering. I like the litte zip at the back too.
I think the sizing is odd in these though, I am a size 12 with a large chest but I got a small in the black and its slightly too big!!! I want to wear it to work though so thought I would prefer the larger size as I want it to be longer and not so tight.

I bought XS in the cream as I wanted it more fitted like a knitted dress.  I love the cream one even more! They are such nice thick stretchy material.

I also bought this cream vest for £1.00 in the sale they were originally £5.99.  As you can imagine these were flying off the shelves. They are ideal for layering or just to wear in the summer.

Do you share my love of H&M???
