New Miso sale dress ♥

I just wanted to show my little bargain I purchased this Miso dress at Republic in the sale for £10.00. It was originally £28.00.  I know its not very 'wintry'but I think its quite versatile and I love the winter florals look.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think this is so cute, I love Miso dresses they are so feminine and I love the colour as I don't have much brown in my wardrobe.

A leopard cannot change its spots.........

Thanks for your comments on my previous post I just want to say this was not aimed at my regular followers I know we don't always have time to comment (I am the same) I just mean when you get people that only comment when you comment on their blog and the ones that say - great post follow me...at the end of the day they have not even bothered to read the post they just want more followers. :(

 

Well I have finally got around to posting about my new coat!  As I mentioned in a previous post when I bought the Nica bag in TK Maxx I also saw this coat which was reduced to £22.00....bargain.  You know when you try something on and you know you just have to have it....well this coat had that effect on me.

 

 

  

 

 

 

The label says Coffeeshop and they also had a web address. As I am a bit of a nerd and love to research everything I had a quick look at the website its a company based in New York and they sell clothing for young women. Anyway love this coat I feel so glamorous in this.

  

I was looking online and they had a similiar one in Miss Selfridge for £85.00.

I will try and get a photo of me wearing it sometime soon.

An Update.......a moan, looking forward to and TV!

Hello everyone

Sorry I have not been blogging much of late I think I am facing 'bloggers block' again and at the moment have not really felt like blogging.  Don't get me wrong I am not worried about how many followers I have, I am grateful for what I have but I do get a little tired of making the effort with blogs and they never bother to look at yours plus it annoys me that some bloggers only leave comments if you leave comments on their blog! I find it odd and I just don't work like that!  Oh and I don't mean that at any of my regular followers..thankyou for your support ♥

On top of this I have not been feeling well of late. I just feel exhausted and I think because of my anemia and my thyroid problems its getting me down. 

I have to admit I am not looking forward to christmas either, I think its a magical time when you are a child or have children but to be honest for me its just time off work and time spent with hubby and little Ollie of course.
This year I only have Christmas day and Boxing day off work so thats not great!

Last christmas my dear Tommy was still alive and I have fond memories of him.

 I know people do think its just a cat but I don't think I will ever get over him going I still miss him terribly.  I mean little things set me off and I end up in tears. 

Anyway sorry to sound so miserable I have got things I am looking forward to like the fact that my closest friend is coming up this Friday to stay, we are going to have a girly night and then we are going to Birmingham on Saturday.  So looking forward to seeing her.

Also we have cute little Ollie, he is settling in well he is so loving and affectionate.

Have you been watching Strictly Come Dancing?  I love this programme although I think Bruce Forsyth spoils it with his me, me, me  ways...hogging the spotlight! :(

 

I love watching Lisa Riley dance she is brilliant I partculary love this dance as she looks so enthusiastic, energetic and happy...it makes me smile!  :)

 

 

I have given up watching the X Factor as all the good ones go and then we are left with Rylan and a few others that I cannot even remember.  I hope James Arthur wins.

I have loved watching I'm a Celeb though I just wish Eric Bristow would shut up! ha ha

That man is awful, do you notice he picks on all the women but not the guys and especially not David! grrrr
Plus I know Helen comes across spoilt but they are so nasty to her, she is a young girl and so what if she wants to wear fake tan I mean the way they went on about her looking 'ridiculous' as they say was really negative and horrible! I mean grown adults picking on a young woman! They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I think she actually dealt with it really well.

This is just a quick post of some things I have bought lately.

 

I ended up taking back about £50.00 of the things I bought from the £100 New Look haul.  I decided against the black lace dress, although I did not actually pay for it I thought it was way too expensive for what it was and its was so short.  I just don't want to waste the vouchers on things that are not 100%!  The peplum jumper I really loved but I wore it once and it developed a hole so I took that back too!

 

I bought a few things since then and so here is what I purchased:

 

Navy floral dress - you know me and my floral dresses and this one was just too cute to refuse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grey diamonte heart tunic - I am not a fan of diamontes on clothing really but loved this as it fits really nice and is quite flattering and I love the sparkly heart!

 

 

 

Cream Peplum top - I have this in black too, its ideal for work

 

 

 

 

Cream Bodycon tunic- this is great for layering when its colder

 

 

 

Black Skater dress - love these style of dresses and I wear this to work

 

 

 

 

 

 

Silver diamonte belt - love this its really sparkly and pretty

 

I also bought these Purple Roll Up Foam Hair Curlers. They were only £2.99 and I have tried them in my hair and they feel so light and are really easy to put in and stay put so I think these will be good! I will let you know the results!

Hello ladies

Hope you are all well.  I am so sorry I meant to post photos of my new coat! I will try and get around to doing it sometime this week.

I saw this tag on someone's blog and thought I would give it a go


1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

Its really long has some natural wave.

2. What is your natural hair color?

Dark brown, although I was white blonde as a child so I don't know what happened! 

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

I never dye it, I did a patch test of a box dye and came out in a small rash so I am too scared now.  I have sensitive skin.  I used to use V05 Colour mousse which was safe and I loved it as it just gave it a richer colour but then they stopped making it! Been looking for a replacement ever since. 

4. How often do you wash your hair?

Every other day.

 

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?

I never wear my hair up although Mike and others say it suits me but I feel prefer it down. I do wear hair slides, bands and sonetimes I plait the top by the fringe. 

 

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?

I do them myself.

7. How often to you change your nail polish?

Every few days, depends on when it gets chipped

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer?

yes, always.  I hate unpolished toe nails!

9. How long does it take to put on your makeup?
 

15-20 mins for an everyday face but probably 40 mins if I'm going out somewhere special!

 

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?

Face, then eyes then lastly lips

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
 

I don't really collect it I usually buy it when its ran out unless I want to try a new product.

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
 

I've never worn them, I am too scared I would get glue in my eye....

13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?

Yes, I hate my skin so have to wear make up every day unfortunately.  I would not open the front door without it!

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?

Yes

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?

Never ever ever, not on your nelly!

16. How many high end products do you have?
 

Probably 1, I tend to choose products not tested on animals. I prefer to spend money on clothes and accessories rather than make up!

17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?

Not as much as I should!

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?

Usually I do it the night before but then somedays I put it on and think 'no I don't like that' and change.

19. How often do you change your handbag?

Now and again not very often really. 

20. What time do you get up and go to sleep?

I get up at between 6-7 depending on what time I have to be in work and go to bed around 10ish

21. How often and when do you workout?

Well...because I don't have a car at the momet I have not been going to the gym...and don't I notice it!  I am getting a car soon so will definitely be going back.
When I was at my slimmest I went to the gym 3 times a week but looking back now although my body looked good my face looked too thin.

22. Left-handed or Right-handed?

Right-handed.

23. How tall are you?

5ft 3ins

24. Do you speak a foreign language?
 

No, I would love to though

25. How many pets do you have?

Yes, one cat

26. How often are you on Blogger?

Not as often as I should.

27. Do you read the comments posted blogs?

I read every single comment. I don't reply to them all as its usually a time thing but I do try to reply as much as I can. If people ask me a specific question I will reply. :)

28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?

Yeah definitely all the time.  I am a 'list' girl I write lists for everything.  As soon as I see something on someone's blog I will write it down! I even put alarms on my phone as reminders ha ha

29. How did you come up with your blog name?
 

Well...I am a brunette, I have to admit I love being brunette and have never wanted to be blonde I just don't think it would suit me. I thought diaries as its more of a diary than anything else. 

30. What kind of camera do you use for photographs?

I have a Panasonic Lumix digital camera,

31. How often do you clean your house? (Daily, weekly, other)

Because I work full time I usually clean at the weekend and maybe once in the week...is that bad??

32. What is your favorite color?

Pink....how did you guess!

33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?

Look or Reveal

34. Do you swear?

No, I really don't like it at all.  I don't mind people swearing around me I just would not use that language myself.  I suppose I was just never bought up around people who swore as my parents were very anti bad language!   

35. What are you doing with the rest of your day? 

Watcing TV, exercising and reading.  I am in the middle of a Linwood Barclay book and I cannot put it down. I am going to watch 999 Whats your emergency later.  I love this programme but it does have a lot of bad language in lol :)

I'm back with a new bag!

Hello lovelies

 

Well we are back from our few days away, we ate loads, relaxed and generally had fun.

 

I also have a new bag courtesy of TK Maxx.

 

I don't know why but TK Maxx is one of those shops I rarely go in but I think I should definitely go in there more often.  You have to really have a good rummage to find the great items though.

 

I bought this tan Nica bag which was originally £59.99 for £29.99....I love it.

 

 

 

It looks great and its large enough to carry all my stuff in..I do carry the kitchen sink around with me! :)

 

Mike also bought me a coat in there which I shall blog about over the weekend, its gorgeous.

 

I shall be catching up on all your blogs today.

£100 New Look haul

Hiya

 

Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes, I had a great day yesterday.  I did not want to do a post on what I was bought, I already mentioned Mike bought me a gorgeous sparkly DKNY watch and he is taking me away for the week.

 

 

 

 

I also just wanted to show you my gorgeous flowers I had delivered to work on Friday.

 

 

They were from my closest friend and they are just stunning.  They came in the cream vase which is also really beautiful.

 

Well I have actually only spent £200 of my New Look vouchers so far.  I don't want to use them all at once as they will last for ages but when Mike took me shopping yesterday I ended up seeing quite a few things I liked.

 

My favourite buy was this gorgeous Cream Peplum jumper.

Its so soft and warm and really flattering

 

 

 

 

Mela love London black lace skater dress - I love this although its extremely short and was £28 which I think is quite expensive! I was in two minds whether to take it back as its so short but I love the style and I love the bust and sleeves.  I was thinking I could wear it with thick tights or wear leggings and high heels.  I don't really want to part with it as it looks really nice but its incredibly short!  The thing is I am only 5ft 3ins as well so I don't know how tall girls get on with buying dresses it must be a nightmare! :(

 

 

 

Black lace heels - I have been after a pair of black heels for ages and totally adored these...they look so classy.

 

 

Beige studded heels - I adore these shoes they look stunning on.  I am not a big fan of studs but words cannot express how much I love these.

 

 

 

 

 

Black longline cardigan - a basic but I have been looking for a black cardi for ages but they were never the right length or fit.

The 11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month

Its my birthday

Hello everyone

 

Its my birthday today and I feel well and truly spoilt. 
 

 

Today Mike took me shopping and bought me a gorgeous DKNY watch that I have loved for a while and I also spent some more of the New Look vouchers.  

 

 I have the week off work now yippee.  Mike has booked a week away in Devon...so excited

 

In other news I have been offered another job within the company I work for, its only a 12 month secondment but I am over the moon.

I ♥ Forever 21 - little order!!!

Hiya ladies

 

I have probably menioned it just a few times before but I love Forever 21.

 

I think their prices are low, similar to Primark but their clothing is just a better quality.

 

I am so looking forward to visiting Birmingham next month as they have a massive store and I feel like a kid in a candy shop in there!

 

In the meantime I could not resist ordering a couple of cardigans.

What I also love about Forever 21 is their delivery service is fabulous.  It cost £3.95 and its delivered usually within 2 days and its tracked so they send you a text message to say when its going to be delievered within the exact hour. 
 

I received my order today and the lace one is stunning, its a lovely thick material and it only cost £13.50.

I also ordered some gorgeous underwear that was in the sale and its so pretty and stunning.

My new cream coat ♥ and booties!

Hiya

I am so sorry for the lack of posting lately and I am going to try to be a better blogger in future...slap hands :) 

I think its because you know you go through those stages when you get 'bloggers block' as I call it.  I am definitely in that stage at the moment but hopefully it will pass.  I have quite a lot on my mind at the moment which I don't really want to go into on here but also a week today is a special birthday for me...argh...I have to admit I am scared! :( 

Anyway onto better things, I received the 2 pairs of New Look boots last week (from a previous post) but was rather unimpressed so they went straight back.  They both looked like wellingtons on me..I mean do they not make boots for small calves!

In the meantime I saw this gorgeous cream coat in New Look.  I always think cream coats are classy and expensive looking if they are kept in good condition and you don't get them too dirty...I will try anyway!
 

I love this coat its really flattering. I have a cream winter hat and I am thinking how lovely it would look with this coat.

 

 

 

 

 

I also bought these light brown boots in the teen section.  These boots are a nice height and look great with tights or jeans.
