Tag and Award

A big thank you to Sophie from http://cgdn.blogspot.com/  for passing this award on to me.

I must admit I do not know what it means but Sophie thinks it may mean entertaining blog so I think I will go along with that.

The rules for this award are:

1) Thank the person who gave you this award and link back to them in your post.

2) Answer the given questions.
3) Nominate 3 bloggers.
4) Contact these bloggers and let them know they have received this award.

The Questions are:

If you did another blog, what about it could be?

hmm not sure thats difficult maybe about animal cruelty and what awful things happen to animals all over the world and how we can try to end their suffering.  It would be hard to write as it affects me so much and I do spend a lot of time thinking about it and in turn it does affect my life!

If you could change your name, how it could be?

I have always loved the name Sabrina since I was little. I think because of Charlie's Angels in the 70's and I think its so feminine and sounds so pretty. I also love Sophia and Saskia.   I think if I'd had a daughter than she would be named Sabrina.

If you could born again, would you like to be a man or a woman?

Woman without a seconds thought. Ok I know we have to have periods and childbirth probably is pretty awful but also pretty wonderful. But isn't it amazing that we can have babies, that in itself makes women amazing I think.
I also love feminine clothing I mean just imagine having to wear a suit or trousers ...urgh no thanks! Plus you have to be all macho and tough where I like being girly and I admit I am a bit of a wimp.

If you could realize one wish, what could be?

Thats hard there are so many. I would love animal and child cruelty to be abolished. I would like good health for my friends and family and I want everyone I love to be happy all their lives.

If you had a power, which one would you like to have?

Probably to heal the sick.

If you had to buy a lot of perfumes from one specific brand, which one would be?

I am not a massive perfume fan I love Body Shop body sprays more than perfume. I find most perfumes too overpowering.

If you had won a holiday, which place would you like to go?

hmmm I would love to visit Australia, Hawaii and more of America. I also want to go to Gibraltar to see the monkeys.

I nominate these 3 blogs for the award:

REVIEW: Avon Naturals Shampoo and Hair Mask in Cherry Blossom

Hello everyone

I don't usually purchase things from Avon but one of my neighbours sells it and she gave me a catalogue.

I decided to order the Daily Refreshing Shampoo and Daily Refreshing Hair Mask in Cherry Blossom which is for all hair types.  I am having problems uploading photos from my camera at the moment so used the web photos.

They are on offer at the moment at a £1.00 for the 250ml shampoo usually it retails at £2.00 (so not expensive) and £1.25 (usually £2.50) for the 200ml conditioner...although I have to say they are small bottles.

I used it this morning and I am really pleased with the results.

Firstly the shampoo lathers really well, has a nice consistency and smells nice although I wish it was a bit stronger smelling.  I do wish the bottle was bigger as I have long thick hair so need a lot of shampoo.

The hair mask (conditioner) was brilliant, it smells gorgeous, the consistency is lovely and thick and it smooths onto your hair really well and it made my hair feel like silk.  When I washed it out it felt so soft and smooth. Now my hair has dried it has left it in lovely condition.

I am definitely going to be buying it again especially while its on offer.

I would say this is one of the best shampoo's and conditioner's I have bought in a long while I also love the Boots Naked range but thats a lot more expensive.

My weekend away and new buys (photo heavy)

Hello everyone

Last Wednesday as you know my parents came down and on Thursday my mum and I went into town. My mum could not believe how big the Primark is here. I brought a few items in there:

Floral shorts

Bottle green boat print dress

Nude peep toe flats (these are a lovely soft material like leather)

Daisy hair band

Pencil skirt (this was only £3.00 in the sale they had them in grey too)

In Accessorize I bought this pretty hair band similar to the Primark one but plain white. My mum made me buy this she said it looked lovely in my hair, there is nothing like people perusading you to buy things ha ha!

We had a lovely weekend away we only went down to Burnham on Sea. There is not exactly a lot at Burnham to be honest but we did not want to travel too far and it was just nice to relax and get away from home. We went into a few charity shops in Burnham and a car boot sale in Brean although there was not a lot at the boot sale.

My parents in the cafe (my dad is 73 and my mum 72) I think they look a younger esp mum she never lets her hair go grey ha ha)

In the charity shop I got this Next tan leather belt which was brand new with the tags on and was originally £14.99 for £1.50.

These brand new Primark boots for £2.00.

and I also got this New Look dress on Ebay for a bargainous £3.50 including delivery

With regards to my previous posts I am going to give the relationship a few weeks and see how things go. I shall keep you posted.

Thank you and have a lovely weekend

Thank you

Hello everyone

I think there has been major issues with blogger I have been trying to comment on people's blogs and kept losing the comments plus I have not been able to get into my blog all day today! Its so frustrating!

I just wanted to say a big big thank you to all fellow bloggers and followers for your kind words and advice. Words cannot express how nice it is to know that my fellow bloggers./followers are there supporting me...thankyou so so much.

Mike and I have been doing a lot of taking in the last couple of days and he agrees that things need to change. He says he is extremely upset to realise I am this unhappy and that I think he does not love me. He has said he does not want me to go and that he will change. I do know that I too also need to change as its not all his fault, we are both to blame.

We are actively trying to make things work and see how things go over the next couple of weeks.

I am having a problem, uploading photos at the moment on blogger and facebook which is really annoying but I keep getting an error message saying ' not enough storage space to complete command' has anyone else had this? I presume it means I have too many photos on the computer but these are being uploaded from my camera! strange.

I will do a blog post in a couple of days (when I can upload photos) with my new buys. I had some great bargains too.

I was extremely lucky as my parents gave me a laptop when they came down. I am by no means spoilt when we were kids we had everything we needed and some of what we wanted. My parents brought us up to appreciate things and taught us that we had to work for what we wanted and were not just handed things on a plate. I was so shocked and thrilled when they gave me a brand new laptop...thankyou mum and dad xx

Bad news

Hello everyone

I am back from my travels with big decisions to make.

This post is really not an easy one to write but something I now feel I have to confront as I cannot carry on the way things are.

I have literally spent the last 2 days crying.  We had a wonderful weekend with my parents but seeing them has made me realise something I have known for a while and that is that I am extremely unhappy.

Mike and I have been going though a difficult spell for a few years now but finally I feel I need to do something about it. Mike won't face up to this fact and thinks that things are fine and refuses to accept that a) he is in the wrong sometimes and b) that it can just be worked out.

The truth is our marriage is breaking down and I write this whilst crying my eyes out and not knowing which way to turn and I have all these questions.

If I leave will I miss him?
Will he be ok?
Can I handle being alone?
Will I meet someone else?
Do I want to meet someone else?
Maybe I won't meet someone as nice as Mike?
Will I be happy leaving?

Seeing my parents has reminded me of the happy bubbly girl I used to be I was always smiling and outgoing but I have turned into this miserable unhappy tearful girl that they don't recognize.

Its been difficult as they have left today to go back to Blackpool (they really did not want to leave) but I have to sort things out in my own head. They wanted me to go with them but I just don't know what to do.   I wonder if I should go there for a week and see how I get on but I am worried I will be unhappy and lonely BUT I am unhappy and lonely now anway and have been for ages

The truth is Mike and I have grown apart, we no longer spend much time together.   Mike has never been physically or verbally abusive to me but he does constantly criticize me and I feel like this has gotten me so down and is the reason for my anxeity and depression.  We have discussed this many times but he never changes so is he ever going to change???

My parents reminded me that I am only 37 and have many years left I am young, I am attractive (although I hardly see this) and I need to get out instead of hiding in the house not wanting to confront things or even go out much.

I will try and keep blogging over the next few weeks to try and keep some normality.

I was going to write about what items I have been buying and my weekend away but I feel its best not to paper over the cracks and face it for once. although I am ashamed to write this.
When I married I married for life so its so hard to face up to this.

I am sorry to you all for writing such an indulgent post but I thought it was for the best to explain and write this down.

I hope you can bear with me at the current time

Thank you

The long weekend

Hello

Hope you all had a fabulous long weekend.

On Saturday I went to Bath (as per my previous post) then Sunday we just stayed in and had a nice relaxing day.

Monday we we went out to look at things for the home and also decided to go to Pets at Home.

Thomas had a few goodies brought for him....

'an empty tummy is a sad tummy'

I had to buy this dish because it has the ginger cats around it...!

Also we bought Thomas some of his favourite treats, catnip drops and Dreamies. Thomas has a particular liking to rolling around all over the catnip drops before he actually eats them...obviously the aroma sends him a bit mad! ha ha.

My baby

We then decided to work on our back garden.  Neither of us are brilliant gardeners however one day I would like to have a nice garden but we need to get the house sorted first. I was thinking of getting a beginners book to gardening! I would love to have a garden full of pretty flowers.

Also this weekend I finished a book I was reading

if anyone has not read this I really recommend it.  Its such a brilliant read, it had me laughing and crying.
I love Sophie Kinsella's books I think I have most of them.

Oh and also on Friday (Royal wedding Day) we took another stray cat in. She was starving and wanted affection so we fed her and she stayed in our house on Friday night (well in the garage but she had a nice bed to sleep on).  My in laws took her to their house on Saturday and she has been there ever since! She has gone outside but has come back to them. They have nicknamed her Tilly May. They are taking her to the vets today to check if she is chipped.
I keep telling Mike I am going to end up one of those old ladies that has a house full of cats.

Bath buys

Hello lovelies

Yesterday I went to Bath and met up with one of my friends we had such a lovely day the weather was gorgeous too. We had lunch in Wetherspoons and of course we went shopping.

In New Look I bought this petal vest dress.  It was in the sale reduced to £12, its part of the concession range. I love the colour and style and it looks great with a cinched in belt. The photo does not really do it justice.

And this cream tie knot waistcoat.  Its very figure flattering.

In H&M I bought this dress I am going to wear it with my lace waistcoat and waist belt and wedges. Its plain but can easily be dressed up. Its a lot nicer colour in reality the photo makes it look dark.

All in all it was a great day.

In the end I watched the wedding on Friday and I must say it was a beautiful occasion and they both looked fantastic. Kate is gorgeous anyway and I loved her dress I thought it was stunning. She looked absolutely beautiful. Her sister also looked gorgeous and I loved her mothers outfit too. Although I am not a royalist I do think Kate is a lovely girl and I  like the fact that William is more down to earth than other some of the other royals.  I wish them a very happy future.

My parents are coming down on Wednesday I so cannot wait to see them. On Thursday I am taking my mum shopping and then on Friday the four of us are going down to Somerset for the weekend so that will be nice. I hope the weather stays nice.
