Outfit post - Lazing on a sunny afternoon

Hiya

I am sorry I have not done many outfit posts lately but as I am working and have to be in really early I don't have time to take photos!

Today I got home from work and decided to sit in the garden for a bit with Mike and Tommy who was rolling around in the sunshine.

I changed into my little teal Primark dress and pumps and took a quick couple of photos.  This dress is very short so I would probably only wear it on holiday or with leggings but I do love it and it only cost £6.00.  The colour is lovely.

Dress and belt - Primark

Pumps - H&M

I have lost a tiny bit of weight although I dont think you would really tell but I do feel slightly slimmer and have noticed some difference as a dress that was always tight on me is a lot looser!

I love this sunny weather and I really don't want it to end! I feel so much happer when its sunny.

I keep meaning to take some photos of near where I work as its a lovely part of the city and will try and do this next week.  Plus I will also try and take some more outfit posts.

Ship shape and Bristol fashion

Last Saturday I went to the Bristol Fashion show, hairdresser Andrew Barton and fashion stylist Mark Heyes presented the show.  It was really good I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely go again.  One of the male models had a gorgeous body so that was a nice treat!

Unfortunately I could not take any photos as cameras were not allowed.

The theme this year seems to be pastels it looks like they are going to be really big, which is a good thing as I love the pastel colours also ladylike fashion is going to be really in, corals and chiffon nude materials.

After the show we got a goodie bag and a book of vouchers with money off shop and restaurants.
We had a browse around a few shops, my friend wanted to buy some shoes in New Look but to be honest I was disappointed with what was in the shops.

I did buy some jeggings in Dorothy Perkins and used a gift card I had for ages.  I had a similar coloured pair from Primark but they are baggy on me now and after I have worn them half an hour they start to fall down and sag! Must be the weightloss plus they are not made well!
These ones from DP are really fitted though and I got a size 10 although I think they are a big 10. I absolutely love them they are more like jeans as they feel like denim and are very flattering plus I like the fact they have the belt loops.  The are pricey at £23 for jeggings but well worth the money plus they are a lovely colour.

In Boots I bought some Soap and Glory Glow Getter...£10.50, I have noticed so many people rave about this product.  I have not used it yet but will do a review when I use it.  Boots had an offer on that if you spend over £10 on Soap and Glory you get the big bottle of body wash free!

I had a couple of purchases in Paperchase. I bought this Hello Kitty calendar which was reduced to £2.50 from £10.00.

I also bought an organiser for work in the sale reduced to £4.00.

La senza undies,,,not showing you these...ha ha!

and this ditsy floral 'L' keyring in Accessorize.

♥♥♥My First Cath Kidston bag♥♥♥

Well I finally got a Cath Kidston bag.....I have wanted one for ages and as I sold a few things on Ebay I never wear I decided to treat myself to one.  For some reason I thought the CK bags were about £45-£50 but the one I got was only £22.00.

I got the Hampton Rose.  I spent ages trying to decide between the Bird one or the Hampton Rose but as much as I love the Bird one, the Hampton Rose is definitely more me.

I love it...its just so girly and so summery!

I went to the Bristol Fashion show yesterday it was really good but I will blog about this later in the week.

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather and having a great weekend

Ebay 99p dress

Yes thats right I managed to win a dress on Ebay for only 99p. It was brand new with the tags still attached.  It cost me £2.95 including delivery....bargain!

At that price I thought that if it was no good for me then I could easily re sell it but to be honest its gorgeous.

Isn't it pretty.....and it looks lovely on.

Mirror mirror on the wall

I really like Matalan especially for their home ware, they have some gorgeous items and at really nice prices.

I saw this mirror on the website the other day and thought that would look so nice in my bathroom and a snip at only £8.00.

It arrived today and its gorgeous and a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Its such a bargain.  It actually has a stand with it so you don't need to hang it on the wall.
If I don't use it in my bathroom I will keep it for the bedroom...its so pretty.

H&M & Primark purchases

Hiya everyone

Just thought I would post a couple of things I bought last week.  I think I mentioned before please excuse the black mark in all my photos I think there is something wrong with my camera.

In H&M I bought this chunky knit white cardigan

I love this, I liek the look of chunky knit cardigans with floral delicate dresses bare legs and sandals or even with boots and tights.

I also bought this dress which I ordered online and got £5.00 and another 10% off with a discount code.

Plus this stripy dress, this may be going back as I am not sure if the stripes sit on me a bit funny, if that makes sense!

In Primark I bought this gorgeous green summer dress, I love the colour of this dress they had this in white, black and another colour I think and it was only £6.00.  I was also going to get the white one but whenever I buy anything white in Primark nine times out of ten they lose their brightness after a couple of washes and I hate that dirty white look! I thought it would be a waste of money. I do think the white one is really cute though.

Horse print peplum top, this looks great with a black waist belt and fitted pencil skirt for work

Plus this belt was £3.00, really nice and natural for summer.

I also purchased Look magazine.  I do like my magazines although to be honest I don't buy them for the celebrity gossip as I am really not interested in celebrities or 'so called celebrities'...you know the ones I mean!!  I purely buy them for the fashion and clothes ideas, make up, hair styles and I love the real life stories.

I love Look magazine and it was only £1 exclusively in Tesco this week

Als I have been browsing Topshop online....(slap my hands).  I love the look of these sandals although I do think £25.00 is tad much for plastic.  I would really like to see them in reality before I decide!

The dieting is going ok, I tried on a couple of dresses I wore last year that were very tight and they are a lot looser especially around the waist.  Don't get me wrong I have had a couple of bad days where I have not ate well but to be honest you know what its like some days you just need chocolate or crave something unhealthy but as long as I try and stick to it I think the odd bad day is ok.

What would life be like without music?

I really cannot imagine as I love music so much, I like all different types and different eras of music, it can move me, make me happy, make me sad but this song sends me into a trance where I just want to dance all around the house. I have never taken drugs in my life, I honestly believe music is like a drug to me...I cannot describe how it makes me feel!

I love Coldplay and have a major crush on Chris Martin.....!

I will be catching up on everyone's blogs this weekend so sorry if I have not left comments for a few days. I have also been shopping...yes again, just a few bits I will blog about over the weekend.

Have a great weekend...!

♥My Forever 21 dress♥

Can you love an item of clothing and if so is it rather sad???  Well I certainly hope not because I received my Forever 21 Peach Lace Dress this week and I really am in love with it!

Its stunning, its a gorgeous colour more like a salmon pink than a peach and the style and length is just perfect.

I will definitely be taking it to Torquay for my girls weekend away as I think I am going to wear it on the night out.  I really want to wear it before then though!!

I just need some nice nude heels and a bit of fake tan and I am ready to go.

The pink is such a lovely colour and very flattering on my skintone and hair color.

It was only £20 including postage but I think it looks a lot more expensive.

I will try and get a photo of me wearing it soon.
Thankyou Forever 21 I will love you forever! he he

Outfit post - Lets do lunch!

On Saturday Mike and I went to Frankie & Benny's for lunch and this was my outfit.

Lace Crochet dress - H&M
Blue Super skinny jeans - Primark
Bow Pumps - H&M
Belt - Primark

I would much prefer wearing this dress with bare legs in summer I can imagine it with tanned legs and sandals...its incredibly short though.  I would also wear it with thick tights.

I have been eating really well so it was hard going out but I decided to eat what I truly wanted as it was a one off treat, I found it hard though as I felt guilty and worried I was ruining my diet.  I did not choose anything too calorific and I had a 200 calorie desert of pancake with vanilla and brownie ice cream and chocolate sauce and it was delicious.

To be honest you probably would not notice that I have lost weight but I have as my clothes are feeling looser, I just wish it showed more but I suppose its early days!

I managed to get into a pair of black jeggings over the weekend that I could never wear as I always had a muffin top when I wore them but now the muffin top has significantly reduced and I can actually wear them now without them looking awful.....so its all positive.  I still have a long way to go though until I will be truly happy.

Take care

I have been a naughty girl and have been shopping again! tut tut

Please excuse my photos I seem to have a big black mark on all the photos!

Tan leather sandals - £55.00 reduced to £12.00.  These beauties popped out at me from the sale section and the only pair left and they happened to be a size 4! I am totally in love with these!

♥H&M♥

Buttercream Lace Crochet dress - this is very short (and I am only 5ft 2-3!!) but looks gorgeous worn as a top/tunic with jeggings, leggings or tights.  I wore this today and took some photos so I will do an outfit post soon.

Ditsy sun dress - words really cannot describe how much I love this dress. The colours are so fabulous together, a real eye catcher and its very flattering. I think it definitely looks nice with dark hair and a tan, although would look lovely on blondes and redheads too! I just wish it was summer now.

Navy fitted skirt - Love the fit of this skirt and its really nice quality, ideal for work.

♥New Look♥

AX Paris heart earrings - I have to have big earrings as otherwise they don't show on me with having long hair.
