Happy New Year and a sort of outfit post.

Hello to all my followers and fellow bloggers

I just wanted to say thankyou for being interested in my ramblings and in what I am buying/wearing. I am so grateful that people are interested in my blog as when I first started it I did not think I would get even 1 follower so its so amazing to me...thankyou to you all, it means so so much.

I hope 2011 is a good and a happy year for you all.

I thought I would do a sort of outfit post with my new coat so what do you think?

Today we have just had a lazy day I have just finished watching Sex & The City 2. I must admit it was not as good as the first one. Although I love watching it for the fashion and I love the girls friendship.

Next weekend I will be blogging about my giveaway and you can see what lovely items there will be available.

Happy new year everyone

Shoe bargain!

I was browsing the New Look website the other day and came across these shoe boots in the sale they are leather and they were only £7.00!

They were originally £25 which is cheap considering they are leather but reduced to £7.00...I could hardly resist and well it would be rude not to buy them!

I love these shoes, I have not got any peeptoe shoe boots and I like these ones as they are not too chunky.

I am so looking forward to wearing these in spring/summer with little dresses.

I may do an outfit post when they arrive.

In case I do not post before New Year than I hope everyone has a fabulous New Years Eve whatever you are doing.

We are going to a party at OH's brothers house.

Boxing Day sale purchases

Hello everyone

How was everyone's christmas?

We had a really nice day, it was just me, hubby and Thomas and then the in-laws came up for a few hours in the afternoon.

Boxing Day we had a browse around the sales, this is my sale buys!

Firstly I ordered this dress from ASOS.

I am imagining it in summer with a tan and wedges or heels...can you tell that I cannot wait for summer!

In New Look I brought this Navy Blue coat which was £55 reduced to £25. I love the fit of this coat and its ideal for me being 5ft 3ins as I find most coats are too long for me.

In Republic I brought these necklaces for £2.00 each

In Accessorize I brought these hair slides for £2.50.

In H&M I brought this tan faux leather bomber style jacket...it looks like proper leather and I love it as I have wanted a bomber style jacket for a while. This was not in the sale but was only £29.99. They also had it in cream and I also want to go back and get the cream one too!

also in H&M I brought this black ribbed knitted tunic from H&M,

I plan to wear with a long sleeved top under and a waist belt and a long necklace.
I already have this in pink and it fits really nicely.

For christmas I mainly had money and vouchers, I did have these cat print pj's from La Senza, I love the cute cats.

Take That Cd and Sex & the City 2 DVD

Also one of my friends brought me this lovely Nica purse.

I also purchased a longline sleeveless cream cardigan from Dorothy Perkins (no photo) for only £2.99 and these gorgeous New Look Nude shoes for £3.00 both via Ebay.

Have you been buying anything in the sales?

Lunch with the girls and a couple of buys!

Hello everyone

Well even though I have been suffering with bad anxeity and some depression I braved the crowds today and met up with the girls for lunch. To be honest I have not been outside for a what seems likes ages as I really have not felt up to it so it was a nice change.

The snow wrecked it slightly as we ended up meeting late so there was not much time for shopping. Also one of my friends had to get back to Gloucester to go to her boyfriends works xmas party tonight.

We went to Coal Grill and Bar for lunch and for dessert we shared the chocolate fondue!

yummy.

I brought this blouse in the H&M sale, it looks much nicer worn as it makes my waist look tiny!

In Primark I brought these taupe shoes, they are slightly darker in reality.

and this black cardigan ( I love it as its very long and stretchy so fits well)

Christmas presents from one of my friends - exciting!

A whole Primark OOTD!!!

My outfit today is all Primark...how bad is that! I don't usually tend to wear all Primark in one outfit but oh well!

I am not sure about this dress though I have a feeling it could be a bit frumpy...what do you think?

I am not doing much today its snowing really heavy outside and I am currently watching Jeremy Kyle.... I cannot believe half of the people on this show its just ridiculous.

Tomorrow I am meeting up with 3 girlfriends for lunch and maybe a spot of shopping.

What are your plans for the weekend?

My current likes, thoughts & wants!

I saw this on Lorna's blog http://haphazard-afternoon.blogspot.com/and thought
I would do it:

Currently reading:

Lynwood Barclay -
I love his books they are thrillers and I find it hard to put his books down.

Currently listening to:

I am loving The Script at the moment and I love their latest song 'Nothing' I also have a crush on the lovely Danny!! Unfortunately I could not get the video as you tube won't let me copy to my blog!!

I also love Ellie Gloulding's Your song. Its funny because I hated Elton John's version but I think Ellie's voice is so gorgeous, its so feminine and gentle. I am also listening to a lot of Snow Patrol.

Currently watching:

Strictly Come Dancing - come on Matt and Aliona!

Repeats of Road Wars and Night Cops - love these programmes it just makes you realise what idiots there are out there and what the police have to deal with.

Also I love Gavin & Stacey and I want them on DVD. I wish they would make more episodes.

Currently thinking:

Why and how can people be so cruel to animals and babies!!! Every day I read a sad story of animal cruelty or child cruelty and it angers and upsets me so much!

Currently eating:

Junk food!!! as bad as it seems I love chocolate and cookies.
I am also loving roast dinners too!

Currently using:

Naked & Smooth 97% natural shampoo and condition - this is the best shampoo and conditioner ever! The conditioner is amazing it makes your hair feel like silk plus its not tested on animals.

Currently wanting

Some GHD hair straighteners that I can curl my hair with! I find the ones I have at the moment are too wide and don't curl very well.

H&M Online - bad service!

Oh my god H&M online is not good at all! Very disappointing.
I ordered a coat on the 2nd December and only received it yesterday. It was £3.90 for delivery but it really takes 2 weeks! Shockingly bad

When it arrived it was shoved into a bag which it could just about be squeezed into and it was all crumpled and creased.
I admit it only cost £22.49 as it was in the sale but on seeing it all crumpled it has put me off and I am going to return it. Its slghtly too long for me really as I am only 5ft 3ins.

Therefore I am still on the hunt for a nice coat, I may have to wait until the sales!

Have you ordered from H&M yet?

OOTD in Bath plus a few buys!

Hello everyone

The past couple of weeks have not been great if I am honest, I have been ill and also have been feeling really anxious again and a bit depressed.

I know its hard for people at work to understand as one lady makes it quite clear I should just pull myself together and get on with things, but when you do feel depressed its not quite as easy as that!

Anyway I don't want to go into too much detail but I am hoping I will feel better soon.

In the week I popped into Primark on my lunch break and picked up a few items:

Tan heels

Diamonte hair band (I may wear to a xmas party I am going to)

Sequin Butterfly hairslides

I also managed to get this Topshop tunic courtesy of Ebay.

Today hubby and I went to Bath to do some christmas shopping. I love Bath, we ate at Jamie Oliver's restaurant which was really nice and I brought a few christmas presents.

This was my outfit:

Faux Fur Jacket - Miss Selfridge
Cream knitted dress - H&M

Tights - Primark
Boots - New Look

I brought this gold christmas tree, I am not sure where I am going to put it yet, maybe the porch.

When I got home I decided to put the big christmas tree up in the living room, I was not going to bother as I have not been feeling great but as my in-laws are coming up on christmas day I wanted to make an effort for them. I always put some fairy lights around the fireplace too. Thomas was so intrigued by the tree and the lights his face was a picture!

Have you put your decorations up yet?

Also I have not forgotten about my giveaway I have decided I am going to be doing this in January as its too close to christmas now and also I have had other things on my mind!

Have a lovely weekend

Navy Blue Military Dress - Primark
Red Jumper - Primark
Waist Belt - Primark
Opaques - ASOS
Tan Boots - New Look

I had to laugh at my Rupert The Bear on the bed, I have had him since I was 2 years old!
We really must sort the spare room out, maybe I should make that my mission for the weelend.
This weekend me and OH may be going to Bath for the day. I need to get a few more christmas presents so that will be fun although I am sure it will be packed everywhere.
Also I am going to put the christmad tree up this weekend.
What are you plans for the weekend?

Trial Outfit Post!

Hiya

I wanted to try my new tunic/dress from H&M and this is what I was thinking of wearing it with...what do you think? I could wear it with a different colour cardigan but am wondering which colour would be best!!!

It is quite sheer so will be great for summer too with ballet pumps but I love chiffon style dresses with thick tights.

Excuse my funny hand movement in this photo I was trying to adjust the cardi!

Dress - H&M
Cardigan - Primark
Tights - ASOS
Tan Boots - New Look
Tan Belt - Primark

I would love to hear your thoughts?

Thank you

OOTD/H&M Online sale purchase & few other buys

Yesterday I made an order from H&M online for the first time ever.
I have heard a lot of negative comments about their delivery service so I am wondering when my order will arrive!

I ordered this camel coat it was originally £59.99 reduced to £29.99 in the online sale and then using code 8909 I got a further 25% off so it was £22.49 plus £3.90 postage. Its wool and I like the fact that its fitted style. I saw it in store today and it was still £59.99 I tried it on and I really like it so I hope it arrives soon.

Today I popped out to my local shopping Mall and brought a few christmas pressies and I also popped into H&M and brought a few little goodies for me!!!

This was my outfit

Dress - Apricot
Jeggings - Next
Navy Cardi - Primark
Grey ruffle shoes and grey patent belt - Primark

In H&M I brought this gorgeous tunic/dress in the sale its an oyster pink colour and its like a floaty chiffon fabric - I love it as its so feminine and gorgeous.

Also these two tops in the same style I particularly love the spotty one and I will wear them with jeggings or tucked in with a pencil skirt for work.

In Topshop I brought these

Ankle leggings - having tried loads of leggings I think TS have the best ones.

and I also brought these pumps.

I brought a similar pair last year from New Look and they were half the price of the Topshop ones but the material was not as good.

In Boots I brought

Barry M lipstick 147 - I have seen this lipstick on loads of blogs and have wanted to try it for a while its such a pretty colour.

Also brought this shampoo and conditioner from Boots its on BOGOF at the moment and its meant to be 97% natural, not tested on animals and does not contain any SLS.
I may do a review of this sometime.

Have a nice weekend xx
